<세기의 계절>은 상상을 통해서 만들어진 미지의 시공간 속 인공정원이다. 이 작품은 <가시 다리>, <잠망경 꽃>, <시계를 잃어버린 토끼> 등 다채롭고 거대한 다섯 점의 공기조형물로 구성된다. 이들은 동화 속에 있을 법한 특유의 사랑스러운 모습을 하고 있지만 그 속에는 다소 기괴한 모습들이 병존한다. 환경의 변화로 인해 변이되거나 진화하는 생물의 새로운 종을 상상하는 것은 디스토피아적인 미래상을 그리는 것으로 보일 수 있다. 그러나 작가는 유전자 변형에 대해 단정적으로 논쟁하기보다는 인간의 개입으로 인해 생겨나는 새로운 생물종들을 작가 특유의 시각을 통해서 다시 생각하도록 제안한다.

〈Season of Century〉 is an artificial garden in unknown time and space created by imagination. The work consists of five colorful and huge air balloons, such as 〈Spiny Leg Coral〉, 〈Periscope Flower〉, and 〈A Rabbit that Has Lost Its Watch〉. They have these unique and adorable looks found in fairy tales, but within them, somewhat bizarre images also exist. Imagining new species that evolves and mutates due to environmental change can be seen as painting a dystopian future. However, rather than conclusively arguing about genetic modification, they propose to rethink on new species created by human intervention through the unique perspective.
