PLASTIC ISLAND는 최근 대두되고 있는 ‘해양쓰레기’문제를 주제로 시민들과 함께 만드는 시민참여 형 전시프로젝트다. 미술 작가와 시민들이 함께 진행한 프로그램으로 참여자들은 생활쓰레기 업사이클링에 대해 알아보는 교육 시간을 가졌으며 여기서 만들어진 시민참여 작품이 작가의 작품과 함께 전시된다.

PLASTIC ISLAND is a civic participation-type exhibition project that will be created with citizens under the theme of "Ocean Waste" that has recently emerged.
The program, which was conducted by art writers and citizens, was designed to help participants do a workshop on garbage upcycling.
A citizen participation work created will be displayed along with the artist's work of the exhibition.
