평행정원은 미래의, 과거의 또는 알 수 없는 시간대의 공간에 있을법한 정원의 재현이다. 환경적인 혹은 유전적인 영향으로 변이되거나 진화하는 생물체들에 대한 이야기로 점점 인위적으로 변해가는 도심 속 새로운 종들의 인공 정원이다.

어느 날인가 유전자의 변형으로 변이될 동식물들을 알 수 없는 미래에, 어느 미지의 섬 혹은 행성이 무대가 된다. 이러한 디스토피아적인 미래상은 과거에 두려워했던 오늘의 모습일 수도 있을 거라는 가정에서 시작한다.

Parallel gardens are likely to be spaces in the future, past, or unknown times. It is a story about living things that change or evolve into an environmental or genetic journey. It is an artificial garden of new species in urban areas that are becoming increasingly artificial.

One day, an unknown island or planet becomes a stage in the unknown future of plants and animals that will be transformed into a gene transformation.

This dystopia vision begins with the assumption that it might be the day that we were afraid of the past.
